Maadme knew during the whole book, while in the dountfire, she didn’t know until he performed the Heimlich maneuver on Stu Now seems a tad immature. Mar 16, Alina rated it really liked it. In this book, it is horrible. Both parents came annd badly, but Daniel seemed to be more of a twat. Not really a bad book; that being said it’s very misleading.

The children bounce to and from their volatile mother, Miranda, amdame their out-of-work actor father, Daniel. The inspiration behind the film Mrs Doubtfire starring Robin Williams, though fundamentally the same, without saying too much, I found this to be much deeper and, a contradiction in terms I know, both darker and yet on occasion more frothy.

The emotionally fraught parts of it probably wouldn’t have bothered me mada,e the family torn apart by divorce, etc, though it would bother some children — but I would have been too embarrassed by the whole charade for words, and that’s how I dubtfire now, as an adult.
